St. Edwards University's popularity forced the school to provide a multilevel parking garage for faculty and students.  The challenge was to make the parking garage safe for those using the garage, and make it appealing.  This was accomplished with metal accents around the windows, various guardrails, and controlled access barrier gates. 
 
Compound Security Specialists installed handrails throughout the main parking garage.  There are two sets of entrances and exits with barrier arms, ticket systems, stop lights, and bollards.  The controlled access has clear markings on the ground and above for drivers and pedestrians.
